A Small Haul :)

Hi everyone,

Last week I had the opportunity to go to Belfast. The makeup there is quite a bit cheaper, they have a couple of brands that we don't have in Dublin and it was 3 for 2 on everything; so I availed of the opportunity to buy a few things in the shops, and I thought I'd show you what I got.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder

I just finished my old powder, and needed a new one. I had heard very good things about this one on blogs, YouTube, etc. and am a big fan of Rimmel in general, so I decided to give it a go. I'll let you know how that goes.

MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter

Once again, MUA is one of my favourite makeup brands; the quality is good, they're very cheap and I have more of their eye shadow palettes than I probably need. I've been without a highlighter for awhile now and when I heard Essie Button mention this one in a favourites video on YouTube awhile back, I decided to try it out. The problem was I couldn't find it anywhere. This one was literally the last in the shop, so I was very happy to finally get it.

MUA Merged Trio Eye Shadow in 'Theatrics'

I think this was the only thing that I saw on the day and bought on the spur of the moment, and you can see why; it's just so pretty! The colours are really lovely, and I think these trios wold be really useful for travel, if you don't want to start bringing palettes or take a lot of makeup with you.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo in 'Metallic Pomegranate'

I have a couple of the Colour Tattoos already, and I really like them. They're particularly useful for early mornings and/or running late, when you don't have a lot of time to do your eye makeup. They keep bringing out new shades, and I've had my eye on this one for awhile. I wear neutral eye makeup a lot, and I want to try and change things up a bit. I think this eye shadow would look really nice both on it's own and combined with some of the other Colour Tattoos, like Pink Gold.

Max Factor Lipstick in 'Mulberry'

I've never actually tried anything from Max Factor before, but I've been wanting this lipstick for a long time and finally decided to take the plunge. It's not actually as dark as I expected it to be, but the colour is still lovely, and perfect for winter!

Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquers in 'Across the Universe' and 'Eclipse'

Like the Colour Tattoos, I have a couple of the Apocalips and like them a lot. Recently they brought out some new shades, and these two in particular struck my fancy. I have a lot of the very bright colours (like Big Bang) so it was nice to get some more everyday ones.

And that's everything! See you soon :)
